Description
Health Reference Center - Academic contains consumer health information and provides access to medical journals and consumer health magazines; medical topic overviews from Clinical Reference Systems; and the full-text of health pamphlets, health related articles from general-interest periodicals and numerous medical reference books. There are four types of searches: subject guide, relevance, keyword and advanced.
Leads to extended citations, abstracts or full-text of journal and newspaper articles, magazines, pamphlets, newsletters, and reference books.

Provided by the New York State Library, NOVELNY connects New Yorkers to 21st century information. NOVELNY is supported with temporary federal Library Services and Technology Act funds from the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS). The New York Knowledge Initiative is a proposal for permanent state funding for NOVELNY.
