Bibliography of the History of Art provides access to the literature on European and American art history from late antiquity to the present. It includes and extends the coverage of its two predecessor art indexes: Rpertoire d'Art et d'Archologie from 1973 to 1989 and Rpertoire International de la Littrature de l'Art = International Repertory of the Literature of Art (RILA) from 1975 to 1989.

Leads to citations and abstracts for art-related books, conference proceedings and dissertations, exhibition and dealer's catalogs, and articles.
